Nancy was born and raised in Toronto. In 1979 she moved to South-Western Ontario with her husband
and children.
Nancy is a self taught artist who started painting earnestly when she was
twelve. From the beginning she has always combined her love of animals with her painting. She showed
her work at the Stratford Art in the Park exhibition as part of the Stratford Festival for several years.
She has also had pieces in the Perth/Huron Exhibition at the Stratford Art Gallery.
For the past several years Nancy has concentrated her efforts on commisions and selling her hand painted
agate jewellery at dog shows. She has also been a part of the All About Pets show and recently exhibited
at the Canadian Parrot Symposium.
Nancy works with a number of different mediums including
chalk pastel, acrylic and also does some sculpting. Her agate paintings are done with acrylic then painstakingly
coated with liquid epoxy.
Nancy presently lives in the Dublin area with her husband, their
dogs Lupine and Icefire, and her blue fronted amazon parrot, Tambouri.
